Carolina’s Boutique accepts valid return and exchange requests. Customers may apply for a return or exchange in the following situations: non-human-caused quality issues discovered upon receipt (such as shipping damage, fabric snags, unraveling seams, detached sequins, workmanship defects, or incorrect style, size, or color); or significant discrepancies between the product and its online description.

Basic Conditions: All items submitted for return or exchange must be in brand-new, unused condition—free from signs of wear, stains, odors, or additional damage—and must retain original tags, dust bags, and complete packaging/accessories to ensure suitability for resale. Exclusions: Items that have been worn, washed, ironed, or altered/tailored; fabric damage or detached embellishments caused by accidental snagging, pulling, or soaking; orders exceeding the eligible timeframe; and special clearance or custom-sized items (which are not eligible for "no-reason" returns or exchanges).
3. Validity Period
Customers may submit return or exchange requests within 30 calendar days of signing for the delivery; requests submitted after this period will not be accepted.
4. Return Process
4.1. Within 30 days of receiving the item, contact customer service to submit a return request, stating the reason for the return and uploading photographic proof of the item;

5.3. Ship the original item back in its entirety; once the warehouse receives and verifies the item without issues, a replacement item will be shipped out;

After the warehouse successfully receives and verifies the returned item, the refund review and processing will be completed within 1–3 business days. The refund will be returned to the user's original payment account. Standard processing time is 1–3 business days; actual arrival times may vary depending on the specific policies and settlement schedules of the issuing bank or payment platform.
7. Rules for Shipping Costs on Returns and Exchanges
7.1. Merchant Responsibility: For returns or exchanges resulting from product quality issues, incorrect shipments, or discrepancies with the product description, the store covers all round-trip shipping costs; the user is not required to pay for logistics.
7.2. User Responsibility: For returns or exchanges initiated for personal reasons—such as incorrect size, dislike of the style, or subjective aesthetic preference—the user is responsible for the return shipping costs.
7.3. Shipping Costs for Replacement Shipments: For exchanges caused by merchant issues, the store covers the cost of shipping the replacement item; for exchanges due to personal reasons, the user covers the shipping cost for the replacement shipment.
8. Order Cancellation Rules
Orders may be cancelled by contacting customer service at any time prior to shipment; the store charges no handling fees, and a full refund will be issued via the original payment method once the cancellation is approved. Once an order has been shipped and has left the warehouse, it cannot be cancelled directly; the standard return and refund process outlined above must be followed.
