Size Guide — Carolina's Boutique

Our formal and evening gowns are designed for a tailored, elegant fit. Please measure carefully and refer to the chart below before placing your order. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort.

How to Measure

  • Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the ground.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually about 1 inch above your belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, about 7–9 inches below your natural waist.
  • Height: Stand straight without shoes and measure from the top of your head to the floor.

Fit Tips for Formal & Evening Gowns

  • Mermaid / Fishtail styles: These styles are form-fitting through the hips. Prioritize your hip measurement when selecting a size.
  • Strapless styles: Prioritize your bust measurement to ensure a secure fit.
  • Satin & sequin fabrics: These fabrics have little to no stretch. If you are between sizes, size up.
  • Train & maxi gowns: Designed for heights 5'2"–5'5" (157–165 cm). Taller customers may wish to have the hem adjusted.
